I discovered Savate boxing in the summer of 1996 in Sarcelles during an event that was happening near my home. In the process, a club was created and I therefore continued because I find this sport quite fun (touching without being touched)
In 1997, I took part in my first competition, and since, then I have never stopped…
Today, I am a Savate Ambassador of the International Federation, in charge of mission on American territory (North and South), I have my own club in Sarcelles (France) and I travel around the world to promote Savate.

I started doing savate more than 35 years ago at a local club in Novi Sad, Serbia. I was attracted by the specificity and diversity of the sport and the opportunity to express myself Savate is a big part of my life. It makes me constantly improve and progress both physically and mentally.
As a competitor, I would single out from a large number of performances in the country and abroad – European champion in the combat discipline – 2 times World Vice-Champion in the assault discipline. I have been a coach for about 25 years, of which I have been the coach of the national team of Serbia for 15 years. Competitors of my club have won a large number of national and international medals, of which I would like to single out 47 gold medals from international competitions in all age categories and both disciplines.
As part of the FISav Savate Ambassador team, I led several seminars in the country and abroad (China, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, …) In the future, I hope that Savate will gain even more fans around the world and continue to develop.

In 1998, I started training Savate Boxe Française and Canne de Combat. Two years later, in the year 2000, I represented Germany in the first World Cup in Assaut. Savate is for all ages, so fifteen years later, after some dedicated training, I became German champion again.
Since 2004, I have been active as an international judge and referee and have taught Savate Boxe Française and Canne de Combat in China, France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Singapore and the United States.

Sebastien Zollkau
Of French-Peruvian origin, I was born and raised in the Paris area, where I trained and still train in
Savate Boxe Française since 2012. Representing Peru, I won bronze medal at the 2018 World Assaut Championships in Bulgaria, silver medal at the 2019 World Martial Arts Masterships in Korea, and gold medal at the 2019 PanAmerican Assaut Championships in Colombia.
As a Savate Ambassador, I started to conduct Savate workshops in schools in rural villages in the
highlands of the Peruvian Andes, in an institute of higher education training future teachers of
physical education, as well as in the Alliance Française de Lima. At the same time, I continued to make the Latin American community discover savate, and to establish contacts with clubs, coaches and other organizations in different South American countries to organize future seminars.
I wish to put my experience and know-how to good use in the development of savate and make it
accessible to all.
